Meet Matthew Goergen, DMD, MS
Dr. Matthew Goergen believes orthodontics is about more than straight teeth—it’s about building relationships and creating results that truly last. Whether he’s walking a patient through their first appointment or celebrating the big smile reveal at the end of treatment, he considers it an honor to be part of someone’s transformation.
Dr. Matt brings a calm, attentive approach to every interaction and takes pride in providing personalized care that’s precise and gentle.
Education & Experience
Dr. Matt grew up in Chicago and studied Economics at Illinois Wesleyan University before discovering his true calling in dentistry. He earned his dental degree with top honors from Southern Illinois University, then practiced as a general dentist in Colorado for nearly three years.
Driven by a passion for orthodontics, Dr. Matt completed his specialty training and earned his Master of Science in Orthodontics from the University of Minnesota—where he also published research in the Journal of Anatomy.
He is a board-certified orthodontist and has been honored as a 5280 Top Dentist by his peers.

Outside the Office
When he’s not working on smiles, Dr. Matt enjoys staying active and outdoors—especially hiking, biking, and traveling. He also has a creative side and loves making music. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, family, and close friends.
