Littleton Braces

Braces in Littleton are an excellent option for correcting more complex orthodontic concerns. In some cases, they can move teeth more efficiently than other methods, potentially shortening overall treatment time.

Because braces rely on time-tested tools rather than advanced technology, they remain one of the most predictable and dependable treatment options available.

At Southwest Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, we use metal or ceramic brackets, carefully bonded to the teeth, and connected with a thin archwire and elastics. These components work together to gently apply pressure and guide your teeth into proper alignment over time.

With regular adjustments from Dr. Matt, braces remain a trusted solution for creating healthy, confident smiles.

Littleton Clear Aligners

Clear aligners are a top alternative to braces for patients in Littleton who want a more subtle, flexible option. Instead of brackets and wires, this system uses a series of clear, removable trays to gradually straighten your teeth.

Each aligner is custom-made to fit comfortably over your teeth and gently shift them into place. You'll wear each set for one to two weeks, switching to the next tray as directed by Dr. Matt.

To be effective, aligners must be worn 20–22 hours a day. Skipping wear time can slow progress or extend your treatment timeline.

Clear aligners are a great fit for many common issues like spacing, crowding, or mild bite misalignment. In more complex cases, braces may still be the better choice. At your consultation, Dr. Matt will help determine which option works best for your needs.
