Your First Visit
What to Expect at Southwest Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics
Whether you’re visiting us for general dentistry or orthodontic treatment, our goal is the same—to help you and your family get healthy, confident smiles.
Adult patients coming in for a checkup or cleaning will meet with Dr. Chad Belongea. Orthodontic consultations are handled by Dr. Matthew Goergen, and pediatric visits are Dr. Scott Pankratz. No matter the reason for your visit, we’ll take the time to make you feel at ease, explain your care, and ensure a positive experience from the start.
If you or your child is feeling nervous, let us know—we’re here to help every patient feel comfortable and supported.
What to Bring
To help things run smoothly, we recommend completing your new patient forms before your visit. This way, you can relax once you arrive and focus on your care.
Please also bring:
- Your dental insurance information
- Any relevant dental or medical records you'd like us to review
For your orthodontic consultation, Dr. Matt will look over your records as part of creating a personalized treatment plan. If you have any questions before your appointment, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to help.
